STARTUP WEEKEND

Startup-WeekendIt is a 54 hour event and will be held for 3 days. This event brings Orlando designers, developers, entrepreneurs and experts all together from all domains to do startling things. Anyone is welcome to pitch their start up idea, so that they can receive feedback from their peers. Ideas from the people are taken and a team is formed (done by vote). And commence a 3 day frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing and market validation. The weekend comes to climax with presentations in front of local entrepreneur leaders.

Startup weekend promotes Discovery, Innovation, Teamwork and Entrepreneurship. More than 200 startup weekends events have been conducted all over the world.

The three days startup crash course involves

Day 1: Pitch

Pitch an idea, vote, and form your team or else join the team you want.

Day 2: Build

Work with your team to develop your ideas in order to turn in to a viable startup

Day 3: Launch

Launch your presentations and state your demonstration to the judges.

Form Teams

Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work

Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow
